Tip for Other Campers:
Big Bend is 3 miles away. Plan for at least 3 days to see each of the main sections, more if you are a hiker. Go EARLY to hike; like in the dark so you can start hike at first light or before and be done before the heat gets you. We heard people leaving the campground as early as 5 am. Also Big Bend Ranch State Park - this is an amazing scenic road. We only...

Small, nice park that is positioned very well to visit both Big Bend National Park and State Park. Not far from the old Terlingua ghost town. We handled all arrangements via email and text, including...

Big Bend National and State Parks are minutes away. The old Terlingua ghost town is interesting. Had a great dinner at the old Starlight Theater.

“Quiet, Sunny, Friendly”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
We stayed for a week visiting Big Bend NP. The site was plenty long enough for our 42 foot fifth wheel and 23 foot tow vehicle plus our chase car. The owners were friendly and helpful. If you had a...

Stock up with provisions for your stay before leaving I-10. The drive through the state park to the west is scenic and hugs the Rio Grande.

Very clean and maintained
Minutes from everything Terlingua! Truly enjoyed our stay. We camped at Paisano Village RV Park & Inn in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has two sections. One on each side of TX118. They will text you with directions to your site. Owners are very nice and helpful. It was hot outside when we arrived (100 degrees). We were able...

Tip for Other Campers:
Big Bend NP is amazing. We hiked grapevine hills to balanced rock. Amazing view after scrambling around boulders. Fossil discovery exhibit was interesting. Hiked Chisos Basin Loopsteep in places. Old Maverick Road to Santa Elena Canyon is shortcut but it is dirt and washboard. Castolon, Tuff Canyon, Mule Ears and Sotol Vista were great views. Ross Maxwell...
